Launched in 2021, the virtual Student and NRN Careers Fair has been created to support student and newly registered nurses as they enter the healthcare job market.

You will be able to meet the UK’s key nurse employers who will be interviewing on the day and gain valuable CPD hours at the online seminars. All you need is an internet connection and a device to join us, wherever you are.

Here is how it will work:

Meet employers and interact with them on the day using online chat by text, audio or video
Upload your CV for potential interviews with NHS Trusts, private healthcare organisations, the armed forces, care homes and nursing agencies
Gain CPD hours and a certificate by attending the online and on-demand virtual seminars, available for 30 days after each event
Take up live Q&A opportunities with the speakers at the end of each seminar at the times indicated - see the seminar programme for more details
Download a virtual goody bag of exhibitor information, which you can email to yourself at the end of the show

It works in much the same way as a face to face event, just from the comfort of your own home. How will I access the event on the day?

Once you have registered, you will be emailed a link before the event. This will have all the details of how to login. You will be able to login via a computer, tablet or mobile phone.

Should I do anything to prepare?

We advise checking you are able to login properly, the day before the event, via the device you are planning to use. If you are looking for a job, you should upload your CV beforehand.

Will I need to dress smart for the event?

If you are planning to interact via a video link with exhibitors and speak to them about job vacancies, then yes, we advise wearing smart clothing. This will give a good impression to employers, especially if you are looking to be interviewed on the day.
