Ward 25 is a mixed ward with 2 specialities. Gastroenterology and Colorectal Surgery. Ward 25 is a dynamic area where the two specialities complement each other.  Both teams integrate well and this produces a calm atmosphere. Ward 25 has a range of development opportunities, for a Registered Nurse who would like to make a difference in the patient journey. Ward 25 works with a mix of Clinical Nurse Specialists through the trust.

As a Registered Nurse in one of our teams, you’ll find it extremely rewarding working as an integral part of the team to provide the best possible care and experience to all our patients. 

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for assessing individual patient care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care for a group of patients in accordance with agreed policies and professional guidelines.

To take charge of the ward for a span of duty, normally working under the supervision of senior staff.

Working with our Clinical Nurse specialist to enhance the patient care.

To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
