We have an exciting opportunity for staff nurses to join our team. After a recent staffing review we are expanding our workforce in the Emergency Department.
We recognise that nurses are seeking a career pathway and development opportunities. Staff are supported by a new Clinical Practice Facilitator and are part of a Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurse development and appraisal group. We are enhancing our orientation and education programme to ensure that our staff received not only the extended clinical skills and knowledge that they require but also to ensure that have the personal support to work in a challenging clinical environment.
We have a very proactive education program, within the Emergency Department to include enhanced clinical skills such as suturing, x-ray ordering. Staff are supported and encouraged to develop the many skills and knowledge required to look after our diverse patient group. Staff are also encouraged to be part of the many Quality Improvement projects that we facilitate in-house with support from the Quality Improvement Centre.
You will need to have some post-registration experience and be able to evidence your own professional development.
