Are you NMC Registered Nurse (or are due to qualify) and looking to take on an exciting opportunity within dialysis? 

We have an exciting opportunity in several of our clinics throughout the UK for nurses who want to make a difference in our patient’s lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures with the aim to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning and access to our in-house education programme‘d Academy’.  

Here at Diaverum we offer the chance to specialise in a nursing function meaning that you can develop your career and progress through the nursing functions.  Dialysis also brings with it the opportunity to connect with the patients that you will see each week enabling you to build rapport and enhance the care that you can give them.   Our roles are suitable for both experienced nurses looking for a change and newly qualified as a full training programme is offered and nurses are supported throughout their time with us.  

We have a focus on career development and training with each region having their own Clinical Lead to support staff through their training competencies and reach full potential.   The clinical lead would also help those newly qualified nurses who are just starting their nursing careers.

We offer a 4 week rota with a mix of short shifts and long days, there are no night duties and the clinics are closed on Sunday.   

You will be responsible for taking ownership of care programmes for renal patients, following the tailored care plans as per Consultant instructions and ensuring clinical activity is appropriately documented in the patient medical record. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with Diaveurm processes; reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients; working in a multi-disciplinary team etc.


 REQUIREMENTS:
 • NMC Registered General Nurse
 • Awareness and Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct
 • Be able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team
 • Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care
 • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English

 

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Full Time - 37.5 hours per week 
  • Monday to Saturday, Shifts hours from 6:30am to 11:00pm and please note that there are no nights or Sunday working

You must be able to work clinically in a renal setting.
