An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new team to support the opening of the escalation ward- 18E at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
As part of this team there is an opportunity for Band 5 registered nurse vacancies.
The ward is a 20 bedded area which admits medically fit patients awaiting care/discharge planning. Ward 18E is fundamental to the flow of patients within the trust allowing timely discharges and releasing acute beds from the hospital.
Our objective is to deliver patient focussed compassionate, safe care. In order to do this, we closely work alongside the multi-disciplinary team consisting of: doctors, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, matron, clinical site, patient journey facilitators etc.
This is a permanent position however when the additional capacity of beds is not required staff will be redeployed to support other areas within the Medicine Division.
We support flexible working, with full and part time positions available.
